The Warehouse Project has announced three major new shows for its 2026 season as part of a vibrant celebration marking its 20-year anniversary. The Manchester club series has been a transformative force in the nightlife scene since its inception in 2006 at Boddington’s Brewery in Strangeways, evolving into a highly influential establishment in the electronic music landscape.
The newly confirmed dates will see renowned artists Overmono, Tiësto, and Solomun take the stage at Depot Mayfield. These performances are just a snapshot of WHP’s anniversary program, which kicks off on Friday, 18 September, spotlighting two decades of turning industrial spaces into iconic club venues celebrated worldwide.
In addition to the exhilarating musical lineup, WHP is amplifying its anniversary festivities with a broader cultural program that reflects on its significant impact on Manchester’s nightlife and electronic music culture over the years. This initiative includes a new retrospective film directed by filmmaker Leigh Powis, documenting The Warehouse Project’s journey from its raw beginnings at Strangeways to its current vibrant home at Depot Mayfield.
Moreover, an outdoor photography exhibition is set to launch this summer, showcasing visual narratives that capture the energy of WHP’s events. Participants can also tune in to a dedicated WHP podcast series, featuring engaging stories and interviews from across the brand’s illustrious history. Additionally, a print magazine is in the works to give readers visual and narrative insights into 20 years of artists, nightlife, and Manchester’s dynamic club culture, further enriching the anniversary narrative.
WHP continues its partnership with Apple Music, offering exclusive mixes in Spatial Audio and live audio streaming from selected events throughout the season, ensuring fans won’t miss a beat of the action.
One of the standout events on the calendar is Overmono’s highly anticipated all-night takeover on 30 October at Depot Mayfield. This event is set to feature a sprawling multi-room lineup, including an exclusive b2b set from the exceptional James Blake and Joy Orbison. Notable appearances will be made by notable acts such as Moodymann, Blawan, Helena Hauff b2b DJ Bone, and Aurora Halal, alongside a special guest appearance by Andy C.
Throughout the night, other exciting artists will grace the stages, including Blackhaine, Space Afrika, Rainy Miller, Wraith9, and KAVARI as part of Hain Presents in the Archive space. The eclectic mix promises to blend experimental electronics, innovative club music, and soundsystem culture, guaranteeing a night to remember across all three rooms at Depot Mayfield.
Solomun is set to make his long-awaited return to Manchester on 25 September for his first headline show in five years. This performance also marks Solomun’s only remaining UK headline date of 2026, following the rapid sell-out of two earlier London appearances. With a reputation as a leading figure in modern house and techno, Solomun has captured the hearts of fans worldwide through his marathon DJ sets and celebrated Solomun +1 residency at Pacha Ibiza, as well as his influential Diynamic label.
Adding to the excitement, iconic DJ Tiësto will make his long-awaited Warehouse Project debut on 11 December. This performance marks his first Manchester appearance in an impressive 13 years. With over three decades in the industry, the Dutch DJ and producer has evolved into one of the most commercially successful figures in electronic music, instrumental in bringing dance culture into the mainstream through his festival headline slots and Las Vegas residencies.
Pre-sale tickets for all three shows will be available at 10 am on Thursday, 28 May, with general sales commencing at the same time on Friday, 29 May. Enthusiasts eager to experience this milestone event can sign up for updates via thewarehouseproject.com.
