But it’s really hard to remember,” Rapp-Rovan shares.
With nearly a decade of concerts under their belt, Zeds Dead’s upcoming show signifies not just a return, but a redefined sonic experience that fans are eager to witness.
A New Era of Live Performances
Having recently completed a tour that included two sold-out nights at Red Rocks in Colorado, Zeds Dead is revamping their live show to adapt to larger venues like the Freedom Mobile Arch. Rapp-Rovan describes the shift: “It was sort of an ambitious thing to undertake, and nobody was sure if it was going to work. And yeah, we’ve been surprised and blessed. So many people have come out to the shows.”
This fresh approach is built on an integration of visual elements, which marks a departure from their earlier performances. “We started incorporating more visual elements into our show, like cutting stuff in from old movies and found footage,” Mamid explains. We were really just chasing these musical ideas to their endpoint, not really caring about anything else.”
