Chris Stussy Unveils Debut Album ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten…’

After years of shaping dancefloors worldwide and carefully curating the sonic and visual identity of Up The Stuss, Dutch favourite Chris Stussy presents his most expansive and personal statement to date with his debut album, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten…’.

Scheduled for release on April 3, this highly anticipated album unfolds across three interconnected chapters: Lost, Found, and Forgotten. Each chapter reveals a different facet of Chris’s creative world, encompassing a total of 19 tracks that maintain a cohesive vision.

At its essence, Lost, Found & Forgotten… is a deep exploration of creative freedom. The visual and conceptual motif of a kite captures the themes of movement, perspective, and balance which play a significant role in the album’s narrative.

Just like a kite that floats freely while remaining tethered to the ground, Chris’s approach to music embodies both emotional freedom and a commitment to craftsmanship. This kite symbolizes the identity of Up The Stuss, urging us to look upward, stay curious, and embrace what’s possible.

Sharing his thoughts on the album, Chris Stussy expressed, “This album has been a long time in the making, and I’m excited to finally share it with you. The process behind it—exchanging ideas with other artists and creating music outside of my comfort zone—has been an incredible experience. It gave me a true sense of freedom, allowing me to not think about boundaries or expectations. I’ve never been more proud of a project than this one. It’s deeply personal, and it represents my sound as a whole. I hope you listen with an open mind and find something in it that resonates with you.”

The Lost chapter embarks on a transformative journey by bringing new life to tracks that were once left behind. These tracks, written during different periods of Chris’s life, have finally found their home. Rather than mere relics of the past, they emerge as re-discovered and fully realized pieces of art.

In contrast, the Found chapter captures the essence of inspiration in motion. Here, collaboration and creative exchange breathe life into the music, knitting ideas and emotions into a tapestry of sound. Featuring a diverse cast of collaborators, this section of the album feels expansive and emotionally charged, inviting listeners to embrace shared creative experiences.

The album culminates with the Forgotten chapter, a tribute to the deeper cuts, or the B-sides that may not seem immediately captivating but reward patience. These tracks are for the true music aficionados—those willing to dig deeper and discover hidden gems that reveal their value with time.

Throughout Lost, Found & Forgotten…, the boundaries between reality and surreality are artfully blurred. Like its guiding kite motif, the album encourages listeners to adjust their perspectives, urging them to explore both the tangible and the imagined aspects of music.

This debut album represents more than just a collection of songs; it captures Chris’s journey thus far, viewed from multifaceted angles: past and present, instinct and intention. It’s a body of work that invites listeners to drift through its soundscapes and discover new terrains. Each chapter will be revealed gradually leading up to the full LP release.

Fans can look forward to Chris Stussy‘s Lost, Found & Forgotten… (LP), set to drop via Up The Stuss on April 3, 2026.
