Texas’ long-running Halloween festival is back. Disco Presents has announced the return of Freaky Deaky with ‘The Revival,’ taking place October 30-31, 2026 at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin.
Known for its immersive worlds and spine-tingling production, Freaky Deaky reemerges with what organizers call a more evolved vision. This year’s theme blurs the line between human and machine, life and afterlife with a dystopian narrative about biological evolution gone wrong.
The 2026 theme introduces a chilling backstory: “The initial scans confirmed total systemic deterioration. Vital signs were flatlining; the human organism was failing to evolve from its biological weaknesses. But where the simulation expected death, the Bio-Link found a loophole—yet forced regeneration went horribly wrong.“
The narrative continues to detail DNA misfiring, fractured bones, and neural pathways gone haywire as “the body rejected its blueprint, consciousness splintered, and mutations ran unchecked.“
Building on its reputation as one of Texas’ premier Halloween destinations, Freaky Deaky 2026 will transform Austin into what organizers promise is a haunting, otherworldly playground. Expect multi-stage production, large-scale art installations, roaming performers, and a fully immersive festival environment.
The festival has earned recognition from major outlets, with Billboard calling it “a two-day gathering with enough bass and house to wake the dead” and EDM.com noting that “Austin is known for letting its freak flag fly, and Freaky Deaky takes that sentiment to the next level with mind melting stage production.”
Limited blind presale tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 7 at 10AM CT. Two-day general admission passes start at $149, with payment plan deposits available for $28. The lineup will be announced at a later date.

Freaky Deaky launched in 2018 in Houston and has previously hosted headliners including Excision, Deadmau5, Zeds Dead, Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, and Rezz. The festival expanded to Portland, Oregon, in 2021 and has established itself as one of the biggest Halloween electronic music festivals in the country. Fans are encouraged to sign up early at FreakyDeaky.com to secure access before the lineup reveal.
