SOBEKIN at Aether returns on Saturday, May 30, bringing Sobek back to Budapest alongside Geopard Tourist and DJ Syncbutton for a late-night session built around house, Balearic warmth and genre-fluid club energy.
After a short break, Sobek & co are back with the kind of sound that feels relaxed on the surface but deeply intentional underneath — smooth grooves, unexpected turns and selections that move between dancefloor function and wider musical storytelling.
For those not yet familiar, Sobek is the artist behind Complaint Kulture, a label known for pushing boundary-crossing electronic music and releasing tracks that refuse to sit neatly inside one genre box. Through the label and his wider work in the scene, Sobek has built a reputation for looking slightly ahead of the curve, connecting local energy with international movement and helping open space for more adventurous club programming in Hungary.
His return to Aether feels like a natural fit. Located inside Budapest’s Gozsdu passage, the club has become one of the city’s key underground spaces for intimate electronic nights, balancing strong sound with a room that works best when the crowd is fully locked into the groove.
Joining Sobek are Geopard Tourist and DJ Syncbutton, completing a lineup focused on flow rather than obvious peak-time pressure. Expect house rhythms, Balearic textures and a loose but carefully shaped atmosphere that should carry the room deep into the early morning.
Entry is 3000 HUF in presale and before midnight, while tickets after midnight are 4000 HUF. Visitors with presale tickets should use the Aether entrance line at Gozsdu passage to receive a valid wristband. Tickets are valid for one entry only, and a smoking area is available inside the venue.
On May 30, SOBEKIN at Aether brings the vibe back exactly where it belongs.
