Two-year-old Lower Broadway bar and entertainment venue Barstool Nashville will feature roughly a dozen acts over two days on May 16-17, 2025
Nashville Honky Tonk bars that opened in 2024
County stars like Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen and Garth Brooks all opened honky tonks in Nashville in 2024.
Two years into its existence, Lower Broadway’s multi-level Barstool Nashville looks to expand upon its growing entertainment footprint and influence in downtown Music City with the return of an annual festival.
From 4 p.m. to close on May 16-17, 2025, Barstool Nashville’s now two-day Summer Fest Block Party returns to 123 Second Ave S.
Just like in 2024, festival-ready EDM dominates the headlining slots as a pair of decade-plus-old and globally-renowned tandems — Canadians Loud Luxury and Swedish-born Galantis — will appear.
The former are best known for their top-10 2017 release “Body,” while Galantis are remembered for their award-nominated 2016 hits “Runaway (U & I)” and “Peanut Butter Jelly.”
Pop and neotraditional-aimed country performers, including Josh Ross, Dylan Schneider, Shaylen, Chandler Walters, Cameron Whitcomb, and Yung Gravy, will be featured alongside the opening act, Chris Ferrara and The Common Good.

Barstool Nashville’s entry into lower Broadway
In 2022, digital media company Barstool Sports‘ pairing with New York City’s Stanton & Bowery Hospitality was announced as finding its way to Music City with a venue coming to the former home of Joe’s Crab Shack.
The space was rumored to resemble the Barstool-branded entertainment establishments that opened in Philadelphia and Chicago in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
Opened two weeks after CMA Fest 2023, the space has held frequent DJ nights, college and professional sports-themed events and country music concerts for the past two years featuring notable performers, including DJs Afrojack and MTV Jersey Shore favorite Pauly D, plus country chart-toppers Lauren Alaina and Brian Kelley.
2024’s inaugural Summer Fest Block Party featured country-leaning EDM veteran trio Cheat Codes, whose 2023-released album “One Night in Nashville” featured collaborations with over a half-dozen country hitmakers including Country Music and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dolly Parton, plus Lady A, Little Big Town, Mitchell Tenpenny and Nate Smith, among many.
Loud Luxury collaborator Bryce Vine (of “I’m Not Alright” fame) joined former CMT Next Women of Country Tanner Adell and Lily Rose joined Chris Ferrara and the Common Good, Levi Hummon, Trey Lewis and Chase Wright to round out the event.
