Every season needs a proper closing statement.
On Friday, June 19th, For Division returns to DEPO Klub for its twentieth edition, marking the collective’s final event before the summer break. Appropriately titled FDXX, the night promises a slightly different approach while staying true to the deep, hypnotic atmosphere that has become synonymous with the series.
The biggest change comes right at the beginning.
For the first time in two years, For Division is introducing a new energy into the opening slot, handing the intro duties to ONURB, the alias of Bruno Gregurec. Known for his slow-building, hypnotic approach to techno, ONURB has been given an extended three-hour opening set, allowing him the space to carefully establish the mood and guide the room into the night.
Rather than rushing toward peak-time intensity, his role will be to create a gradual progression, setting the foundations for everything that follows. It is an approach that perfectly reflects the For Division philosophy, where patience, atmosphere and storytelling often take priority over instant impact.
Once the groundwork has been laid, the controls pass to 17, who takes over the main shift of the evening. A familiar name within the local underground, 17 represents the central chapter of the journey, carrying the momentum built during the opening hours into deeper and more driving territory.
Closing duties are reserved for Prognan, who has been given the honor of bringing the season to an end. As the final artist of the night—and the final artist of the current For Division season—his set carries a symbolic weight, providing the last soundtrack before the collective temporarily steps away for the summer months.
Over the years, For Division has built a dedicated following within Zagreb’s underground community by focusing on quality over quantity. The series has consistently championed hypnotic and immersive forms of techno, creating events that reward dancers willing to lose themselves in longer musical narratives.
DEPO Klub remains the perfect setting for that vision. With its industrial atmosphere and loyal crowd, the venue has become one of Zagreb’s most important homes for underground electronic music, offering artists the freedom to explore deeper sounds without compromise.
As the collective prepares to close another chapter, FDXX feels less like a finale and more like a celebration of everything that has defined the series so far: carefully selected music, patient progression and a community built around shared experiences on the dancefloor.
One last dance before summer.
See you in the light night. 🖤🔊✨
