Amsterdam, Netherlands
Amsterdam represents a pivotal chapter in my electronic music journey. The city boasts a vibrant and well-established electronic music culture, complete with an intricate ecosystem of clubs, festivals, and music industry connections. The artistic energy permeates every corner, and every stroll through the city reveals new forms of creativity.
In November 2024, we celebrated CHINA EDM NIGHT at Escape deLux, one of Amsterdam’s prominent clubs. This event marked the launch of CHINA EDM Vol.1, where we introduced the talents of Chinese electronic producers to a European audience. For me, the event transcended a mere performance; it was a defining moment that illuminated how Chinese electronic music can resonate within the international scene.
When I’m in Amsterdam, I always carve out some personal time amidst the hustle. Whether I’m in the studio, pouring my thoughts into new music, or simply wandering the city absorbing its architecture and vibrant street art, these quiet moments often spark creative ideas. It’s a reminder that inspiration doesn’t solely stem from active pursuit but can emerge naturally while embracing a different environment.
Amsterdam is an ideal city for musicians. One moment you’re on stage, and the next you’re in the studio, blending life and music seamlessly. This symbiosis of culture is likely why I continually leave Amsterdam infused with inspiration.

Los Angeles, USA
Los Angeles has always been a cornerstone of my music career and international collaborations. With musicians flocking from various corners of the globe and an established music industry, LA blurs the lines between daily life and the creative process. A day might begin with studio sessions, segueing into meetings with fellow artists, ending with discussions about songs over evening meals. Music is woven into the fabric of everyday existence here.
During my stints in Los Angeles, I find myself immersed in studio work, collaborating with a variety of artists. Partnering with Steve Aoki on “Where Do We Go” was an unforgettable experience, as was my work crafting “DREAMING” with Skylar Grey. Not to mention the groundwork laid for “Don’t Say Sorry” with Libianca, which we later completed together. Other collaborations, such as “Growing Up” with Justin Jesso, reflect the diverse range of musical experiences I seek out.
Collaboration with artists from different backgrounds enriches the songwriting process, where ideas don’t always materialize fully formed. Frequently, the direction of a song evolves through conversation, experimentation, and organic creation.
Some of my most treasured memories in LA go beyond music itself. For example, while working on “DREAMING” with Skylar Grey, our studio sessions were punctuated by Tai Chi practice on the streets, which added a unique layer to our connection and collaboration.
In 2025, I had the opportunity to participate in various Grammy-related events. These experiences were equally about networking and fostering relationships with other artists as they were about the music. Whether it’s in the studio or at an event, these interactions often lead to new collaborations, underscoring the dynamic, interconnected nature of the music industry.

Dubai, UAE
I had a truly remarkable performance in Dubai during Untold Dubai, where I had the privilege of performing “Where Do We Go” alongside Steve Aoki.
For me, this song encapsulates a complete journey — from its inception and writing phase to the exhilarating moment of performing it live on stage.
What resonates most from that performance isn’t just the grandeur of the stage, but rather the reflections that come flooding back as I stood there. I found myself reminiscing about the song’s origins, tracing back to its initial melody or simple idea. Considering all the modifications, dialogue, and collaborations that went into shaping it, seeing it come to life on stage was profoundly rewarding.
This encapsulates my love for creating music. You can never fully anticipate where a fleeting idea may lead you. While some concepts remain confined to the studio, others transform into spectacular performances in distant cities, returning to a creator in ways they never envisioned.
