BLITZ CRUISE Munich returns on May 13 for a special anniversary edition celebrating nine years of one of the club’s defining party concepts, bringing together an expansive lineup of international guests, residents and longtime friends across both floors of the iconic Munich venue.
Running from 11 PM until 8 AM, the night reflects the spirit that has shaped CRUISE since the beginning — open musical direction, strong community energy and dancefloors built around freedom rather than formulas.
Inside the main BLITZ room, the focus moves through acid, house, disco and punk-infused club pressure led by Decius Soundsystem. The South London collective — featuring Liam and Luke May alongside Quinn Whalley and Fat White Family frontman Lias Saoudi — has developed a cult following through chaotic, groove-heavy sets rooted somewhere between New York bathhouse culture, Chicago house history and raw post-punk attitude.
Joining them is Josh Caffé, one of the most distinctive voices within London’s underground scene. More than simply a DJ, Caffé operates across production, songwriting, live vocals and activism, bringing together influences ranging from classic Chicago house and UK acid culture to rap and contemporary club experimentation. His versatility and stage presence have made him a central figure within modern queer nightlife culture, including through his Love Child events at Fabric London.
BLITZ residents Muallem and Polygonia continue shaping the core identity of the floor, while Steffi — founder of the artist-driven Candy Mountain label and studio — adds another layer of depth through her unmistakable blend of emotional house and refined dancefloor control.
Meanwhile, the PLUS floor shifts toward brighter and more playful grooves connected through the wider influence of house music culture.
Byron Yeates brings his eclectic and energetic approach rooted in Radiant Records and the La Noche series, while Berlin-based Partok arrives fresh from the momentum surrounding LAUNDRETTE, the increasingly respected queer-forward party project co-founded alongside Roi Perez and David Elimelech.
Completing the lineup is Munich’s own Leyla, a core member of Radio 80000 and one of the city’s most important underground selectors.
Part of what continues making BLITZ CRUISE Munich special is the atmosphere surrounding the event itself. The club’s no-photo policy and phone-free dancefloor approach remain central to preserving a sense of presence and connection inside the room — values that increasingly separate BLITZ from more content-driven nightlife environments.
As the club moves toward the final chapter of its Museumsinsel era, this anniversary edition feels especially meaningful: a celebration not just of a party series, but of nearly a decade of community, experimentation and shared dancefloor culture.
On May 13, BLITZ CRUISE Munich once again becomes a full-night journey through house, acid, disco, queer energy and underground club freedom until sunrise.
