Egg Club is finally opening its doors in Edmonton this month.
The opening for Edmonton’s first Egg Club was announced at the beginning of 2026. This expansion followed the success of Calgary’s two locations, and now it’s our turn to get the breakfast of champions.
If you aren’t familiar with this brand’s type of breakfast, let me give you the rundown. This Canadian restaurant features a lineup of delicious sandwiches all built around fluffy, folded eggs, fresh ingredients and its signature Japanese milk bread.
Another part of this brand’s business model is its affordability, which is noticeable when you realize some of the sandwiches are only $4.99.
“While many operators are facing tough headwinds, we’re continuing to grow by staying focused on what guests care about most: quality, consistency and fair pricing,” says Jason Yu, president of Egg Club. “Edmonton is an exciting market for us, and we’re looking forward to serving the community with breakfast that feels fresh, filling and accessible.”
It’s the best way to start the day, and we couldn’t be more excited.
“From the moment we tried Egg Club, we knew it was something special,” says Manny Cheema, an Edmonton-based entrepreneur. “We’re excited to bring that experience to Edmonton and become part of people’s morning routines.”
Your new morning routine can start as soon as this month.
The new location in Edmonton will open on April 28, 2026, at its storefront just off of Jasper Avenue in the downtown core. It’s a great spot for foot traffic, as well as accessible to those working in the city.
The 28th will be its soft opening date, open to select, invited customers. The grand opening date is currently unknown.
The company also plans to open additional locations across Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver through 2026 as part of its national expansion strategy.
We can’t wait to get more of the best breakfast sandwiches.
